There has been a long time since Nokia announced some mid-range mobile phones. Today Nokia press release came out with 3 new mobiles, each with a ‘classic’ tag after its model number naming - Nokia 2700 classic, Nokia 6700 classic and Nokia 6303 classic. These phones are aimed at students and people who demand more features at low prices.
Nokia 6700 classic:
Top of the line is the Nokia 6700 classic comes with a 5 Mega Pixel camera, assisted GPS with nokia maps and 3G internet access. The phone has a very slim build and its keypad gives a shiny metal look. Cost is $309 USD or Rs. 15,100, taxes extra.
Nokia 6303 classic:
Next in the line is Nokia 6303 classic looks as revamped version of the popular Nokia 6300. The phone features a 2.2 inch display with 3.2 Mega-Pixel camera. It also sports the Nokia Maps and 3.5mm headphone jack makes it an ideal piece for music perks. The phone is priced at $178 USD or Rs. 8700 without taxes.
Nokia 2700 classic:
Nokia 2700 classic breaks off as the one of the very affordable Nokia phones. This bottom line phone features a 2.0 Mega Pixel Camera and also supports memory card up to 2GB. It also has ability to share the content over Nokia Ovi. Being the cheapest in its class this phone is expected to sell like hotcakes for only $86 USD or Rs. 4200 (without taxes).
All the three devices are expected to ship in the second quarter of 2009.
