Motorola Announce Moto VE66 Slider Phone

Motorola is not going to remain behind when it comes to mobile phones. Motorola has announced a new Slider phone, the Moto VE66 which comes with a lots of feature which makes it an ideal phone for everybody. Whether it is Camera, Internet Access or Call Quality, the new phone is expected to rock in all department.

You can take crisp and clear images with the 5MP camera that it comes with. It comes with a dedicated camera key, auto focus, LED flash, image stabilization and red eye reduction. Most of the features that you find in Digital Camera are here. It also comes with enhanced CrystalTalk technology which enhances your conversation by reducing the background noise so that you can talk clearly even in noisy circumstances. There is also a second microphone which eliminates more ambient background noise from call. The Fast Scroll one touch wheel allows you to scroll through menus very easily. It also has Widget integration which allows you to get latest weather, sports, news updates right on your screen. Other than that, essential features like WiFi, USB 2.0, integrated FM radio

with RDS are also present.

The pricing details of the phone is not yet announced and it will be available in Q4 of 2008.

Spice Launch D-88 Gold Mobile Phone

Spice have been launching pretty decent mobile phones. Recently, they came out with S-930 Touch Screen phone with good features and decent price. Now they have launched the D-88 Gold handset. Don’t get me wrong, it is not a phone dipped in Gold but it comes with Gold finish. The candy bar phone has got some nice features which makes it interesting.

It has a DUAL-SIM technology which makes the phone interesting. The phone has support for both GSM and CDMA networks. And the Dual technology allows users to one CDMA and one GSM Sim card simultaneously. It also allows for calls to be put on hold and swapped simultaneously between the GSM and CDMA connection without requiring phone restart. Some of its other features include a 1.3 MP camera, FM recording, stereo Bluetooth, Java and Remote Control Application. The phone comes with Opera Mini browser and can also be used as a modem. The phone comes with 512 MB memory card which can be expanded to 2GB.

The price is pretty decent. It is available at a price of Rs 8,999.

Virgin Mobile Launch Low Price Handset

Virgin Mobile has launched a very low priced mobile phone called vKewl that has got some pretty decent features. According the the company, it is the only mobile in that price range that offers a 1.3 MP camera with video recording capabilities.

The phone comes with a pre paid connection that offers lifetime validity. Along with the 1.3 MP camera, the phone also has MP3 player and FM Radio. The 1.8 inch TFT LCD screen has 176 X 220 pixel resolution having 262k colors. Apart from that the phone also has WAP and can even be used as a modem. It supports microSD card slot for memory expansion.Virgin Mobile are targeting this phone towards the youth. The phone offers entertainment, camera etc features at a very decent price.

The phone is priced at Rs 3,499 which is pretty decent.

Nokia Announce 6260 Slide Phone for High Speed Sharing

Mobile Phones are not just used to make phone call these days. They have now become a source of entertainment, games and are also used to share content with family and friends. Keeping this is mind, Nokia have announced the 6260 Slide phone which is especially made for sharing photos, videos with friends and also to keep in touch using social networks.

The phone is a S40 device and has a 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens which can take wonderful photos which can then be uploaded and shared using photo or video sharing sites. Apart from it, the phone will come with Nokia Maps and assisted GPS which will simplify navigation. It is the first S40 phone to have a GPS. The phone will have 3G and will come with High Speed uploading (HSUPA) and downloading (HSDPA). This will make sharing much easier and faster. The phone will also have a music player and it will enable sharing of music also. The phone will have a 360° navigation key which will make Internet browsing a pleasant experience and will provide quick access to search engines.

The phone will be available in two colors - Black and Silver. It will be available from January 2009 for an estimated price of EUR 299.

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Unveiled in India

Nokia has unveiled the highly anticipated Nokia 5800 XpressMusic in India. It is the first ever “Touch Screen” mobile phone from Nokia and will provide a good competition to the Apple iPhone. Along with this, Nokia also announced the launch of there ‘beta’ music store. Nokia has also tied up with a lot of recording labels to provide all types of music to its customers.

The phone has a 3.2 MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens along with LED Flash

and video recording facilities. The phone can play audio and video files in multiple formats. It has “Media Bar”, a drop down menu which provides direct access to music and entertainment along with direct link to web and online sharing. Music lovers have a lot to look forward to as the phone comes with a 8GB card and has an internal memory of 128MB. It has surround sound speakers, graphics equalizer and a 3.5mm jack.

The phone offers a lot of input methods including a QWERTY keyboard and an alpha numeric virtual keypad and it comes with pen stylus and plectrum. It has a host of features including Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, WLAN, 3G, GPRS, HSDPA, handwriting recognition software, FM Radio and TV out support.
